Round Valley Rambler 1/2 Marathon

PLACE: North Round Valley Trail Head off Silver Summit Parkway

INTERACTIVE COURSE MAP 13.1INTERACTIVE COURSE MAP 7K

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The ROUND VALLEY RAMBLER TRAIL HALF MARATHON is the first race in the Triple Trail Challenge. 100% of the course takes place on prime, buff single and double track in Round Valley, which sits at an altitude between 6,500’ and 7,100’. While athletes will find the trails foot-friendly, the rolling, high-desert terrain presents a few long and steady climbs followed by fast downhills. The Round Valley Rambler is a stout trail half and serves as a reality check for athletes preparing for the other Triple Trail Challenge races.

AID STATIONS: There will be four aid stations on the course.  They will be stocked with water, Skratch Labs Hydration, and friendly volunteers.  Remember the race has gone CUPLESS.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The JUPITER PEAK STEEPLECHASE is a Park City favorite. Bringing elite athletes as well as weekend warriors to Park City, this 16 mile mountain race presents a serious challenge. Runners start at the Park City Mountain Resort, ascend up to Jupiter peak and down to the finish at the Silver Star Cafe. With an elevation profile that resembles an inverted “V” and over 3000 feet of gain, we feel confident calling this a true mountain race. As the second stop in the Triple Trail Challenge, this is one that cannot be overlooked.

AID STATIONS: There will be five aid stations on the course.  They will be stocked with water, Skratch Labs Hydration and friendly volunteers.  Remember the race has gone CUPLESS.

Mid Mountain 50K

PLACE:  Deer Valley

INTERACTIVE COURSE MAPDOWNLOADABLE GPX FILE

The MID MOUNTAIN 50K starts with a loop at Deer Valley resort. It then follows the Mid Mountain Trail, winding down through the Utah Olympic Park trail system to finish at the bottom of the Nordic jumps at the Utah Olympic Park. The course, rolling across the Wasatch Back through aspen and evergreen forests, is largely shaded single-track. The Mid Mountain 50K embodies the essence of mountain trail running with intermittent technical sections, a few sustained climbs, and fast downhills.

The course is subject to change as required by landowners. If any changes are required, they will be announced to all race participants via email.

The first several miles of the course are on one of Deer Valley’s downhill mountain bike trails. We have been given special permission to use that trail on race day. Please do not attempt to run on the trail during training as it is typically a bike-only trail.

AID STATIONS: There will be ten aid stations on the course.  The location of each aid station can be found on the interactive map. They will be stocked with water, Skratch Labs Hydration, and friendly volunteers.  Remember the race has gone CUPLESS.  A list of what food will be at each aid station will be posted shortly and included in the pre race emails. Options will include Coke, chips, peanut M&Ms, and more.
